The export of medicines is not subject to international sanctions The medicines in Bulgaria are among the most expensive in Europe because of the absence of different VAT with respect to the other goods and services. The dispute with the state is long-lasting but no indications of any change in the tax rate can be expected for the present.This is the comment of Ognian Donev, Executive Director of Sopharma, in the TV talk show "The Day on Air" with Veselin Dremdzhiev.

The Institute of Contemporary Art and Therapy “Libera” has developed the Happy Drum programme (drum rhythm therapy), which is intended for children and adolescents of all ages and is part of the campaign “Smile – make someone happy!”

From October 13 to 18, 2015 the Bulgarian Network of the UN Global Compact (BNUNGC) is going to take part in the Global Compact +15 Europe Conference in Berlin. European Global Compact local networks, their members and interested countries will get together to discuss the future of the Corporate Sustainable Development and the UN Global Compact in Europe.

A unique operation on hoisting and erection of a part of the structure of one of the building of the new site of Sopharma AD under construction took place on 06.08.2012.

The best Bulgarian sports shooters with pneumatic weapons will compete in the first edition of the Sopharma tournament between the 2nd and the 4th of November at Geo Milev Shooting Rangein Sofia. The donation of analgesics, antibiotics, cardiovascular drugs, etc., is of great assistance to everyone who they are taking of. These people have no opportunity to buy themselves the medicines so much needed and they count only on the help of Karitas Sofia's teams.

The exhibition “Picasso: the eternal quest” was opened today in the National Art Gallery in Sofia and it will remain on display there until 25 January 2016. The exhibition was prepared especially for Bulgaria by the “Picasso” House-Museum in the painter’s hometown, Malaga, and was organized by the Embassy of Spainin Sofia, with the support of Sopharma AD.
