New IMS data reveals the growing importance of generic medicines for public health as they now account for 62% of medicines dispensed in Europe delivering huge value while impacting only 4% of total healthcare budgets.

More than one in four EU citizens still smoke
A survey published by the European Commission today, shows no decrease in the overall smoking rate in the EU (26%) since 2014. Amongst people aged 15 to 24 the rate has increased from 25% in 2014 to 29% in 2017.
