Generic medicines – remedy for everyone

According to information of BGPharmAbasedonthe 2014 report of the World Bank, pharmaceutical industry in Bulgaria plays a structurally defining role for the national economy. Generic pharmaceutical industry at European level provides over 150 000 work places and saves costs to the amount of 35 milliard Euro every year.

It is a fact that manufacturers of generic medicines in this country provide over 15 000 work places, which is 10% of the employed in EU generic industry. This creates possibilities for cost saving from public budgets formed icinesandfrees resources for improving the quality of healthcare and medical treatment in this country.
