The exhibition “Picasso: the eternal quest” was opened today in the National Art Gallery in Sofia and it will remain on display there until 25 January 2016. The exhibition was prepared especially for Bulgaria by the “Picasso” House-Museum in the painter’s hometown, Malaga, and was organized by the Embassy of Spainin Sofia, with the support of Sopharma AD.
On 02.11.2015 /Monday/, the national initiative of the Bulgarian business “I Am Proud of the Work of My Parents” aimed at the revival of labour as a value, will take place for third consecutive year in 21 companies, in 19 cities in the country. The idea is for the business to show the employees’ children, using specially developed programmes and games, why their parents’ labour is important. This year, the children will learn about 115 professions from more than 15 sectors of the economy.
As part of the policy of corporate social responsibility and as a sign of support to the Government initiative for provision of free of charge sports activities to the employees by the employers, Sopharma has accomplished another social project.
Government Delegation of Vietnam Visited Today the Largest Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Company Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam visited the production capacities of Sopharma, including the only plant for ampoules on the Balkan peninsula An official government delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam visited Sopharma on 03.09.2012 as a part of the program of the visit in Bulgaria.
The Institute of Contemporary Art and Therapy “Libera” has developed the Happy Drum programme (drum rhythm therapy), which is intended for children and adolescents of all ages and is part of the campaign “Smile – make someone happy!”
It allows working with disadvantaged children, using the rhythm and expressive means of percussion instruments. Sopharma provided funds for conducting ten such sessions.
The medicines will be used as aids to elderly people, who Karitas Sofia are taking care of, according to the Domestic Care Project for homeless people, who they help, as well as to be of assistance to people using psychoactive substances by means of the mobile cabinet for work on-site in Sofia.
The donation of analgesics, antibiotics, cardiovascular drugs, etc., is of great assistance to everyone who they are taking of. These people have no opportunity to buy themselves the medicines so much needed and they count only on the help of Karitas Sofia's teams.
