In the period of December 4 – 9, 2012 the Metropolitan Sofia Hall is where the 39th edition of "Academic" Tournament is taking place and since the previous year it has been named after Dr. Todor Todorov in memory of its founder.

This is the oldest male tennis event in our country, which has been gathering the best Bulgarian competitors in this sport up to now. The tournament is carried out under the sponsorship of Sopharma and under the aegis of Bulgarian National Television and Bulgarian Tennis Federation.

The International Women’s Club of Sofia presented the 18th annual Charity Bazaar on Dec 2nd, 2012.

There were a mix of flavors, colors and tastes, presented on the stalls from over 50 countries and their diplomats in Inter Expo Center Sofia. Sopharma participated along with a monetary donation, Children’s Painting Corner for the small visitors and for the adults stall with high quality "Bulgarian wine" and hand made knitwear and souvenirs. The money collected from the Bazaar will be donated to different social projects by the International Women’s Club.

The seventh annual meeting of businesses with the government took place on 03.12.2012 at Sheraton Sofia. Ognian Donev, the Executive Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sopharma PLC participated in it in his capacity of Chairman of the CEIB /Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria/.

An exhibition of advertisements from the 1930ies and the 1950ies of the last century can be seen from 25.11.2012 to the end of the year in the art space on the second floor in the trade sector of Sopharma Business Towers.

Unique retro ad posters of foreign cigarette trademarks provoke amazement with the ad messages inadmissible for present-day understanding and regulations. Moving advertising visions with patriotic slogans present the advertising policy of native drug trademarks, insect interceptor and tooth paste from 1932.

From October 13 to 18, 2015 the Bulgarian Network of the UN Global Compact (BNUNGC) is going to take part in the Global Compact +15 Europe Conference in Berlin. European Global Compact local networks, their members and interested countries will get together to discuss the future of the Corporate Sustainable Development and the UN Global Compact in Europe.

On 07.11.2012, Sopharma hosted the EACD /European Association of Communication Directors/ Regional Debate in Sofia.

The topic Management of Corporate Reputation attracted both full members of the Association and specialists in the field of communications from large companies and communication agencies.
