Sopharma with a Fascinating Story about Pharmacy at the Career Fair

Interactive Stand and Folk Dances Attracted Children’s Attention

On the 23rd and 24th of November Sopharma took part in the Career Fair, the closing event of the project “I am Proud with the Work of my Parents” of the Bulgarian UN Global Compact Network. The company took part with a mobile laboratory and a presentation intended to keep the attention of both age groups of children – 8-12 years and 12+ years.

Careers considered as “classics”, such as a chemist and a pharmacist, turned out to be quite interesting when presented in an attractive and understandable way to the children. And they are important for society because they have a significant impact on people’s lives, since “without this help, the pharmaceutical production, the manufacture of medicines under different forms, there is no way to get healthy again”, according to the words of Rayana Rikova, chemist at Sopharma.

At the time of the presentation of the professions chemist, technologist and pharmacist, Sopharma’s ensemble Healthy  showed to interested students and parents first steps in some of the most beloved Bulgarian folk dances - horo. The common passion for folk dances manages to bring together specialists with different professions – pharmacists, technologists, IT specialists who together turn out to be a successful team not only in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals.

The Career Fair is the final event of the project “I am Proud with the Work of my Parents” of the Bulgarian UN Global Compact Network. Sopharma is among the companies-initiators of the project and usually attracts the attention of children and their parents with unconventional and interactive presentation of the careers in pharmacy.
