"It is especially pleasant for me to observe how my company, which has a long history and traditions, acquires a modern and youthful spirit, dynamically renews, and grows".

Eliso holds the position of Regulatory Affairs and Safety Manager in Georgia and Armenia. In other words, she is the interface between the company and the regulatory authorities responsible for implementing strategies for regulatory submissions, approvals, and compliance of pharmaceutical products.

With a master’s degree in pharmacy from Tbilisi State Medical University, Eliso has been part of the Sopharma team for 17 years. She shares that her strongest professional motivation comes from working in a multinational company with an excellent working environment, professional satisfaction, recognition of achievements, a positive corporate culture, and the symbiosis between her personal values and the company's mission.

Outside of pharmacology, Eliso has a passion for popular science, especially in the fields of neuropsychology and biology. She also has an interest in architecture and traveling. Eliso loves baking pastries from various national cuisines, developing new recipes, and sharing them with friends. She also takes care of many plants at home and work and enjoys sharing her experience and knowledge with the people around her.

Continuous development: Personal efforts and corporate culture

When asked whether continuous development is the result of individual efforts or something more, Eliso answers: "Of course, personal initiative, motivation, and efforts play a big role in continuous development. The best way to achieve development is when the company's goals align with the personal goals of colleagues. Identifying employees' strengths and preferences and investing in them is the key to successful development for both parties".

Работна среда, която вдъхновява

Елисо определя добрата работна среда по следния начин:

  1. The Right Place: "Where teamwork thrives and everyone shares common goals";
  2. Friendly Team: "Working with colleagues who support, collaborate, and align with our organizational goals";
  3. Reasonable Autonomy: "Having the freedom and trust to make decisions within my role, which fosters a sense of responsibility and ownership";
  4. Opportunities for Skill Development: "Being able to acquire new skills and knowledge and stay updated in my field, which keeps me motivated and engaged";
  5. Feeling Valued: "Recognition of my contributions and efforts from colleagues and management, which boosts morale and satisfaction";
  6. Career Development Opportunities: "Having clear paths and opportunities for professional growth within the company."

And Eliso has a few simple pieces of advice for young professionals:

"Study and work! Challenge yourself! Don't think that learning ends with university. Don't worry about the big projects you didn't get to do; put your best efforts into what you have been assigned. Communicate! Don't be afraid or hesitant to ask for help from your colleagues. Your colleagues have already faced the problems you are trying to solve. Communicate openly and honestly with your colleagues and managers. Act with integrity in all interactions and decisions. Adhere to ethical standards and uphold the company's values", she says and warmly welcomes all new colleagues.

We couldn't add anything more to her words.
