"For everyone else to be able to do their job, I must have done mine well."
Nikolay Georgiev has been a System Administrator at Sopharma for 12 years. He is responsible for the technical support of the workflow for all colleagues in Sopharma Business Towers, medical representatives, and several international offices.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the gym, and running in the park or the mountains.
And if we had to describe him in just a few words... we would say that Niki is the master of "I have a problem" in our daily work life. Nominated three times in the previous edition of the employee recognition program, he has proven that he works with dedication and positivity, making him a worthy ambassador of our values.
Responsibility as the foundation of his work
"I wanted to join Sopharma because it's a big company with growth potential", Niki shares. He has embraced responsibility as the foundation for effective and successful task completion and acknowledges that his colleagues' smooth workflow largely depends on how well he has done his own job.
Niki also mentions that he helps with the onboarding of new colleagues into the workflow and is one of the first people they meet. That's why he always strives to leave a good first impression. "The same goes for farewells – I believe that one should always part with positive memories", Niki explains.
The three key skills for success
According to Niki, three skills are most valuable in his work: communication, kindness, and patience. "I believe I combine these qualities in my daily life – they help me maintain effective and harmonious relationships with my colleagues, which makes the work process more enjoyable", he says.
Working with positive people as a source of satisfaction
"When you communicate with positive people and there's a friendly attitude, the work process flows effortlessly", Niki admits. For him, the atmosphere of mutual support and the positive attitude of his colleagues are key factors that make him feel good at work.
